CASE STUDY: Video Production / Tourism Organisations
WTM London 2022
Mission
In November 2022 we were approached by the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) Headquarters in Barbados, to produce a series of videos for promotion of their attendance at the WTM London 2022. We produced a total of sixteen 4K-HD broadcast quality interviews with credits, content was edited on-site into 3 minute and 30 second clips for social media use. We also put together a 3-minute Hero video and delivered 1.5 hours of B-roll, supplemental footage for media use post event.
CASE STUDY: Hybrid Events/ Tourist Boards
Barbados Tourism Inc. 10 day European Roadshow
Mission
In May 2022 Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc. wanted to raise awareness and educate both consumer and trade on the essence of the destination and what made it a unique proposition in the Caribbean. We proposed an interactive live-stream hybrid solution to increase variety in suppliers and increase audience numbers attending the event. The Barbados European Roadshow included back-to-back events in 8 European cities over 10 days. Each event lasted approx. 3.5 hours and included a total of 12 different suppliers over the 8 days.
Deliverables
Develop a bespoke hybrid program, a different set up for each city.
Increase hotelier/presenter numbers by live-streaming more hoteliers into the live show (live) from Barbados.
Live-stream entertainment and Sponsor speeches during the breaks.
Results
Attendance at each event increased the total audience by more than 200%.
A live-stream solution enabled suppliers in Barbados to present in their preferred target markets.
The hybrid programs created a seamless interactive experience for remote audience to join Q&A sessions.

In May 2021 We were invited to produce a series of broadcast quality and interactive webinars in HD format as part of the St. Lucia Tourism Authority UK office “Global Virtual Roadshow - Summer Series”. These exciting and engaging Virtually Live events highlight the very best of the Caribbean island of St Lucia, truly a professional looking virtual fam trip experience. Each event is hosted by the charismatic and Senior Sales Manager, Mr Richard Moss who interviews various local partners about their products and USP.
In September 2022 Virtually Live produced an exciting interactive Online Trade Event for
Visit Berlin The objective was to showcase Berlin as a vibrant cosmopolitan city, perfect for a city break. We produced the event on Vmix, our preferred platform for streaming live events and themed the online studio with HD promo videos and multiple high-rez images of Berlin. The event was hosted on professionally branded frames with multiple presenter screens. A Live Quiz and Prize Draw was used to engage the agents.
In March 2022, Soneva Fushi Maldives asked us to stream their planned TEDx Baa Atoll event, a globally promoted livestream event about living in harmony with our fragile environment. The project was a bit more complex than usual as we were editing live content into chapters and streaming it to multiple channels with a 20-minute delay. Being able to both edit quickly and livestream smoothly while facing some unexpected local challenges, meant our work was a deemed a success by the client.
